No Tutoring on Wednesday 2/2/11

As I am busy on Wednesday morning, there will not be tutoring on that day, but instead the tutoring will be on Thursday from 3.45 to 5pm.

Math 3 Test in Exponents on 2/4 and 2/7

Today we worked on logarithmic functions. We went over the take home quiz and did some practice problems on the logarithmic functions. Homework is to do questions 2 to 24 even from page 147 in the text book. As we are done with this chapter we will have a review in the next class and the blue day class will take a test in it on this friday and white day classes will take the test on next Monday. ACM 2 Test in Right Triangle Trig on Friday 2/4/11

Today we had a quiz in applications of right triangle trigonometry.Since we are done with this chapter, next class we will do a review for the test and the test will be on friday the 4th of february. Math Support 3 Test on Tuesday 2/1/2011

Today we went over the application problems in trigonometry. We practiced right triangles from the coach book and then used the georgia test prep book to practice more on right triangles. Tuesday we will have a test in special right triangles, right triangles and the circles and spheres. Use the study island website to review for the test in these concepts.

Math 3 HW for 1/27 to 1/28

We looked at the number e in today's class. We have seen how it is used in Mathematical calculations, specially in exponential growth and decay problems. ACM 2 HW and Quiz on 1/31

Today we worked on the applications of right triangles. We have learned about the angle of elevation and depression and have seen how to use it in solving real life application problems. Math Support 3 HW for 1/24

Today we went over the trigonometric ratios and have seen how to find the trig. ratios for all the six trig functions. We will have a test in right triangle trigonometry next tuesday and it will cover every thing in right triangles we covered so far. Homework for tonight is to finish working questions 1 to 30 on the given worksheet.

Math 3 HW for 1/24

We continued out work on the graphs of exponential functions. We learned how to model real life problems using exponential functions. We also learned how to use the compound interest formula to find the total amount at the end of a particular period. Home work is to do questions 13, 14 in page 132 and 137 from the text book and finish working on the worksheet on modeling the exponential functions. GHSGT Tutoring from January 25, 2011

Tutoring for GHSGT starts from Jan 25 and it goes all the way till the students take GHSGT. It will on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3.30 to 5.00 pm in room 416. The bus transportation is provided. I request all the students to utilize this opportunity to review and prepare for the exam.

ACM 2 HW for 1/21

Today we have learned in depth about the trigonometric ratios. We have seen the relationship between the sides and the angles of a right triangle. We also learned how to find the sides of a right triangle if the angle is given and find the angle of a triangle if the sides are given. Homework is to find all the angles for questions 1 to 14 on the worksheet and finish working on the problems 24 to 30 on the same worksheet.
