ACM 2

Today we had a pre test for the 5th six weeks. Then we went over the homework and practiced more problems on simplifying the rational and radical expressions. After the break we will start working on Exponential and logarithmic functions. So, enjoy the break and be prepared to learn more challenging concepts.

Math Support 3 HW

Graduation test will be during the 3rd week of March. Practice for it using the USA test prep and Study Island during the winter break. Today we went over the permutations and combinations. We did some practice problems during the class and then started working on the given worksheet. Homework is to finish working on the worksheet and turn it in after the winter break.

Math 3 HW for 2/17 -2/18

Today we did a warm up for the GHSGT and then learned how to solve the radical equations. We then practiced some problems on different types of radical equations and had the Ticket out the door on the Radical equations. Homework for tonight is to do odd problems from 1 to 27 in page 124 from the math text book.

Today we had the post test for the 4th six weeks in Exponential and Logarithmic functions. After the post test we went over the properties of logarithmic functions and then learned to solve the radical equations. Next class we will have a quiz on the properties of logarithmic functions.

ACM 2 HW for 2/16 - 1/17

We went over the rational exponents and have done some  practice problems on simplifying the rational exponents and radical expressions. Next class we will start working on Graphs of exponential functions. Homework is to do the odd problems from 1 to 15 in page 116 in the text book.

Math 3 Quiz on Properties of Logarithms on 2/17 and 2/18

Today we went over the properties of logarithms and did more practice on expanding and condensing the logarithmic equations. We also had taken a post test for the 4th weeks and I noticed that most of you did really good on it. Hence, I did not give you the homework. So, enjoy your day and be ready for the quiz on properties of logarithms during the next class.

Today we went over the counting principles and did the practice problems from the coach book. Practice more problems by going online on study island website. Homework is to finish working the given worksheet on counting principles. Make sure you get this concept before we move on to permutations and combinations.

Math 3 HW for 2/14 - 2/15

As I was out day the substitute should have given you the work on expanding and condensing the logarithms and also another worksheet on using the properties of exponents. If you haven't finished it, then try to finish it for homework and turn it in during the next class. Next class we will learn how to solve the logarithmic and exponential equations.

For the 1st period class we had a Post test today for the 4th six weeks. Then we went over on the simplifying the radical expressions concept. Homework for tonight is do the odd problems from 1 to 29 in page 115 in Math 3 Text book. This is the homework for even 4th period class.
