Math 3 Test

Today we had the test for the Blue day class and tomorrow the white day classes will have the test in solving exponential and logarithmic equations. After we come back from the spring break we will have two more units to be covered before the end of the semester. So the next unit is going to be on Conics and the last one is data analysis. Enjoy the spring and be prepared to for the end of the year exams.

ACM2 EOCT

Today we went over the properties of logarithms and finished working on the practice problems worksheet. Since the EOCT is during the second week of May, I want all of you to go to usa test prep and do some practice tests for EOCT. Under the Math 2 EOCT, you all need to do some practice tests for each domain and email the results to me. When we return from the spring break we will go over those practice tests. Enjoy the spring break and be ready for the EOCT and end of the year exam.

Math 3 Test Review

Today we did the review for the test on solving exponential and logarithmic equations. The test is on Thursday for Blue day class and Friday for the White day class. ACM 2 HW

Today we went over the historical logarithms task and then looked at the properties of logarithms. Homework is to finish working on the given worksheet on the properties of logarithms.

Math 3 HW 3/28

Today we went over the properties of logarithms and then did a review sheet on the exponential and logarithmic equations. We will have a test on these concepts on Friday for white day classes and Thursday for the blue day class. Next class we will learn how to solve the logarithmic inequalities and then do a review for the test. Homework is to finish the sheet which I gave in the class and turn it for a grade.

Math 3 HW for 3/23-3/24

Today we did a review on solving exponential and logarithmic equations. We also practiced on the properties of logarithms and solved the radical equations. Homework is to finish working on the review sheet and turn it in during the next class.

Test in Exponents and Log functions on Friday

Today we did a review in the class for the test. The test is going to cover all the four topics ( nth roots, applications of exp. functions, number e and logs and logarithmic graphs ) that we discussed today during the learning centers activity. Math Support 3 Project due on April 1st

I hope every one did well on the GHSGT Math. Before we move on with the Preview for Math 3 after the spring break, we will work on the project for the next five classes. The project is called Buying your first car. As we discussed in class this project is worth two test grades. One grade is for the work shown and the other grade is for the presentation of the project to the class. You can use power point to present the work to the class. You all can work in pairs for this project that is due on next friday, April 1st.
