Math 3 Test in Conics on May 2nd and 3rd

Today we went over the circles and Parabolas in the class. Then we had a quiz on the two concepts. I hope every one did well on it. Next class we will work on Ellipses and the last class will be on Hyperbolas. Make sure you all keep the notes for the conics unit. You can use them to prepare for the test which will be on May 2nd and 3rd for white day and Blue day class respectively.

ACM 2 HW for 4/19-4/20

Today we went over the different types of logarithmic equations. We learned how to use the properties of logarithms and exponents in solving different types of equations. Next class we will finish the unit by learnning how to solve the inequalities. Homework is to finsh working on the practice worksheet given in the class.

Math Support 3 Project due this Friday 4/22

We contiued working on the project on use of Math in sports. I think every one is enjoying the project. Make sure you all do two power point presentations and make the project ready for the presentations on wednesday and thursday of this week.

Math 3 HW for 4/18-4/19

We finished circles and started on the Parabolas in class. We finished working on the worksheet during the class and the next class we will start the Ellipse. Math Support 3 Project

I am pleased with the way every one has done the first project on buying a new car. Last class we started the next project on the sports. This project helps you all to see the relationship between Math and sports and makes use of all the knowledge of statistics in drawing the generalizations. If you did not get a copy of it then get it from me asap. This project is due next Friday. Since it has two webquests ,this project will count has two test grades.

Math 3 HW for 4/13-4/14

Today we finished learning about circles and have seen how to write the equations of a circle and for the tangent lines. If you haven't finished the textbook problems from page 182 questions 1 to 19 and 23,24 in the class, then it is the homework. For the class which turned in their classwork, home work is from page 183, questions 1 to 17.

ACM 2 hw for 4/13-4/14

We learned how to solve the exponential and logarithmic equations. We did the guided practice and I hope every one understood the concept. If you need help then come for tutoring in the mornings. Homework is to do questions 1 to 21 all from page 161 in the text book.

Math 3

Today we went over the test on solving logarithmic and exponential equations and then took the post test in it. Later we started the conics and learned about the equations of a circle. We will work more on these concepts in the next class. Since today's class was an introduction class, there is no homework for today.

ACM 2 HW for 4/11-4/12

Today we had the post test for the 5th 6 weeks. Then we learned how to solve the Radical equations and practiced some problems in the class. Homework is to do questions 1 to 30 from page 124 in the text book.
