ACM 2 HW

Today you all had a warm up quiz on the characteristics of polynomial functions. Then we started working on the end behavior of the functions when all the Sophomores left for the meeting. So, we will continue working on the remaining characteristics during the next class. I want all of you to try and do the rest of the task on Polynomial functions for homework. We will still go over it during the class.

ACM 3 Task

Today we went over the Exploration task on Rational functions. We learned how to get the zeros and the Asymptotes of a rational function from the numerator and denominator functions. ACM 2 HW for 9/4

Today we went over the characteristics of polynomial functions. We learned how to find the degree, leading coefficient and write in the standard form. We also learned about the two methods for evaluating a function. Homework is to do questions 1 to 7 from page 69 in the Math 3 text book.

Today we started our third unit Rational Functions. We just went over some characteristics of Polynomial functions and practiced some problems on the graphs of polynomial functions. Today we started our unit 2 on Polynomial functions. We learned how to name the polynomials and evaluate it using the synthetic substituition and and direct substituition. Homework is to do questions 1 to 7 from page 69 in the Math 3 text book and also 11 questions on the given worksheet.
