Classes began with a warm-up dealng with supplying the past participles for ER, IR, and RE verbs. Then instruction reviewed the formation of the past tense in French. Students were reminded that the past participle (the passé composé) is a tense composed of 2 parts: the conjugated form of the auxiliary verb, either avoir or être and the past participle. After instruction, students had 2 workbook exercses to complete. Their summarizer involved supplying conjugating chanter in both the present and past tense.
