Students began with their warm-up. They worked with a partner to ask them specific French questions. Then they had to introduce their partners to the class, transferring from 2nd person to 3rd person. This activity took the entire class.
Both classes began with a warm-up conjugating 2 spelling change verbs--arranger and avancer. Then both classes had instruction on 3 more spelling change verbs: the YERs and its AYER subset, the e plus consonant plus ER verbs, and the é plus consonant plus ER verbs. They completed one worksheet dealing with the instruction. After this the French 4's went over an anticipation guide for Francophonie which they received on Wednesday. They also. received a vocabulary list, and they are to learn the words under the heading :La personnalité. The AP group received their new vocabulary list also. They are to learn the words under the heding: le shopping et les vêtements. They are to turn in their exercises from Le Monstre dans le Metro by the lastest on 8/29. They are now reading "Cousin Raoul" and will need to turn in the exercises by 8/31. Both groups ended with a summarizer once again conjugating 2 spelling change verbs. Next class is Tuesday, 8/23.
