Monday (White Day): Finish analyzing Capote. Register for the SAT online course school. If you were unable to login to the website, please see previous post and follow the directions at home. Make sure you give me your username and password.
Tuesday (Blue Day) and Wednesday (White Day): Learning Centers - Making Connections to TTC. If you were excused absent, please see me for the handouts. You will need to stay after school or come in early to make up the work.
Thursday (Blue Day and Friday (White Day): See below for homework
We will have our first Socratic Seminar over The Things They Carried. This seminar will cover Chapters 1-6.
What you need to bring to the seminar:
1. Your book
2. Homework assignment (see below for directions)
3. Your participation
Homework for Socratic Seminar Chapters 1-6.
You will need to create 3 HOT questions for EACH chapter (18 total questions). You must have one type of HOT question for each chapter (one analysis question, one synthesis question, one evaluation question). Label each question as A, S, or E. This must be typed in MLA format. Please correctly cite each question. Remember no "you" in your questions.

Please have your homework PRINTED before class starts. If you need to print, please use the Media Center or the English computer lab. You will NOT be able to print once the bells rings to start class. Please do not email me your homework either.
