-Students will read story and participate in class discussion about the long term/short terms effects of having a negative attitude.

*Essays: "Your attitude determines your altitude." What is meant by this particular quote? Do you Agree/Disagree? Provide concrete examples to support your position. (3 to 5 paragraphs)

Students will begin reading "Kyle" while participating in class discussion on "Bullying."

-Writing Prompts- (school-wide)

Peer=Editing- students will assist peers in making corrections on first drafts. (essays)

*USA Test Prep- Bored? Nothing to do over the weekend? How about a little practice???
