Today we began discussing Bivariate Data.  Please view Against All Odds Video 7 (Models for Growth).  Read Unit 3.1 and 3.2 and complete the problems listed at the end of 3.1 notes.

Math4 / Acc Math 3 Geometric Sequences and Series, Unit 2 Test

SAT Math Prep Pinnacle Grade Adjustment

******Update...I adjusted grades for the six week report cards........The adjustment will be removed after report cards are printed>>>>>>

Parents  the grade in Pinnacle and on your students report card is a raw grade.  Their current actual grade can be determined using the following formula:

Actual Grade = 100^.6(pinnacle Grade)^.4 + 5

Yes, I know that it is complicated and wacky formula, but it helps those students that are struggling more than those that are doing well and at the same time prevents anyone with a lower raw grade overtaking someone with a higher raw grade.  The formula is subject to change during the semester.

I will put the adjustment in the pinnacle in December after final exams.
