If you missed the 9-Week Assessment last week, you need to see me before school Mon, Wed, or Thur... or after school Tue.

WEEK10: 10/17-10/21

This week we will take the Math 2 9-Week Diagnostic Assessment.  Be prepared to show your comprehension on everything we've learned so far, and make effort on content you will learn later this school year.  Yes, this will count for a grade.  SO PLEASE STUDY all Quadratic Functions, & Right Triangles.  Use all the study guides from this blog &/or class.

WEEK9: 10/10-10/14

This week we will leave Special Right Triangles and start using Trigonometric Ratios to find the side lengths for any/all other right triangles.

Math 2 Support ...  Practice Handling WORD PROBLEMS with right triangles.

WEEK8: 10/3-10/7

We will begin Unit 2: Right Triangle Trigonometry.  In this unit we will learn about formulas used with *Special Right Triangles* & *Trigonometric Ratios* used to find the lengths of sides for a Right Triangle.  This unit is shorter than Unit 1, so it is imperative that you DO NOT miss class and find yourself behind.

REMEMBER, **TESTS/QUIZZES** CAN be retaken or made up before school any day or after school on Tuesdays only.

Math 2 ... Finish the Unit 1 Chunk 2 Solving & Complex #s FREE RESPONSE portion of the test.  Complete the Anticipation Guide for Unit 1.  Begin determining the side lengths using formulas of Special Right Triangles.  HW-Discovering Special Triangles Tasks that involves a baseball diamond & a yield street sign.
Math 2 Support ... Review of sides and angles of a right triangle, & Triangle Sum Theorem.  Begin formulas for Special Right Triangles
