Good day students, spring break is approaching and I know you all are ready for a mind break. Next week, in Math I we will ending our probability unit. We will be testing Thursday, March the 31st for blue day students and April 1st for white day students. This test will consist of conditional probabilities such as mutually exclusive events, overlapping events, dependent events and the event that can stand on its own, independent events. We will have one more unit to cover and in this last unit we will be starting with our parent functions. With these parent functions, we are going to make shifts along the y axis. We will look at stretches and shrinks of those six parent functions. We will then start preparing for the EOCT in our daily warm ups. So we are almost done, continue to do your best and make your better become your best!

Please remember that your complex number assignment is due Wednesday. In class monday we will begin graphing complex numbers and finding the absolute value, which is the distance that number is from the origin. Upon completion of that we will begin operating with complex numbers, adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing. I hope that you found the webquest to be very useful, and thanks to Kayla for her insight on exponents of complex numbers. Have a great week! Ms.Coleman
