This week in GPS Algebra
Monday we will finish our foldable on multiplying polynomials. We have two more sections on our foldable to complete, Binomial times a Binomial. We will use the FOIL method to multiply these polynomials. I will also teach you the box method and you can pick which method you like the best. Our last section will be multiplying a binomial times a trinomial. There is no short cut to these just be prepared to work it because it is a little tedious. Consider this a warning. No School on Tuesday, enjoy your day off. Thursday we will expand polynomials using the binomial theorem and Pascal's Triangle. So we have a lot to cover before our Thanksgiving break.
This week in Accelerated Math I
We will finish our lesson on special quadrilaterals. We still have to cover the trapezoid and kite. We will move on to Triangle Congruences, to prove two triangles are congruent. So let's review, we started with sum of interior/exterior angles of any polygon, to quadrilaterals, to triangle congruency. Whew.... Almost done with this unit, we still have to cover triangle inequality to centers of triangles. And then we will be done.
