This week in GPS Algebra, we will continue to operate with radicals. We will start multiplying then move to dividing and adding and subtracting. This will conclude our lesson on radicals and will be testing December 15th and 16th on Radicals.
In Accelerated Math I, we will finish our lesson on congruent triangles. We will then begin centers of a triangle. Believe it or not their are four different centers. These centers can be found by the point of concurrency of the medians, altitudes, angle bisectors and perpendicular bisectors. This next test is strictly vocabulary not much computation. Please study your vocabulary terms as we go through them on a daily basis. We will conclude our geometry unit with the distance and midpoint formulas. Our next unit will be circles, so looking forward to this unit.
Midterms start December 19th -22nd. Early release days are that Thursday and Friday, December 21st and 22nd.
Exam Schedule: Monday 1st and 2nd White, Tuesday 1st and 2nd Blue, Wednesday 3rd and 4th White, Thursday 3rd and 4th Blue. This is different from the dates on the letter you received in homeroom Monday, so make a note of it. New letters will go out next Monday in Homeroom. Have a great week.
