Assessments this week:Monday, 2nd block can finish unit 6B test and 3rd block can finish on Tuesday ( I am out of 3rd block on Monday to proctoring an AP test)
Final Exams for seniors : 2nd is Monday, 05/23, 3rd is Thursday 05/19. ( If you are an underclassman, see me for your final exam date)
Quiz is likely on Friday.
tutoring this week: Tuesday afternoon ( after 4), Thursday, Friday ( until 4:30 only due to Relay for Life participation)
I encourage all of you to check Pinnacle for any missing work and to get the work made up.
Monday
Today, the class can work on unit 6B test and they may use the review sheet as a resource. Also, the class will create a poster of the self selected problem ( one sine graph and one cosine graph). IN addition, the class will work on a graphing trig functions packet and they may receive extra test points. I am out of 3rd block due to AP Proctoring.

HW: Finish Trig packet
Tuesday
We start the systems of equations ( 9.1) and inequalities ( 9.4) unit, my favorite unit of the course. Today, we look at solving a system of equations by graphing and solving a system of inequalities.

HW: Worksheet on Equations (back of notes from class) and Inequalities
Wednesday
I hope to have the unit 6B tests graded and you will get your test back and there is a test correction session in class. We starat with an inequality activity and then notes are taken on (9.1) Substitution and ( 9.2) Elimination. Most students prefer elimination and it is a must for the notes on Thursday.

HW: Worksheets on Elimination and Substitution
Thursday
We start off class with solving a system of equations using all 3 methods. ( graphing, substitution and elimination). Then, we solve a system of 3 equations, 3 variables, where this method is an extension of the elimination method.

Homework: Select problems on worksheet ( be sure to do problems in order given in class, as I will assign problems in order of difficulty)
Friday
Today, it is quiz day, study the three methods of solving a system of equations, including the one system, 3 method sheet. After the quiz, more notes are given on the 3 equation, 3 variable problems

HW: None, enjoy the weekend
Seniors, it is only 2 more weeks to go after this week.
