The class takes a summative assessment on special right triangles and notes begin on the sides of a triangle in relation to the trig functions and the trig functions are introduced.

Tuesday/ Wednesday

The class finds the missing side of a triangle using trig functions. First, we start with the given trig function and then we progress to the trig not being given. IF time allows, we move to missing angles.

Thursday/ Friday

Tuesday

We learn how to find all roots of a polynomial function, given one root, ( section 3.3).Also, we review Descartes Rule of Signs and relate the chart of Descartes to the roots of a polynomial.

Thursday

The class works with cards on finding roots of polynomials, given one root. Notes will show how to find all roots of a polynomial given no roots, the calculator will be used to find the first root.Additionally, we review for a quiz.
