Mythology Unit
- Teachers will introduce the Greek Heroes to the students! For example: Hercules, Perseus, Jason and the Argonauts.
- Teacher will discuss the Trojan War as an introduction to the Odyssey.
- Teacher will present the 12 Gods & Goddesses of Olympians of Mount Olympus.
- Students will read Perseus p. 1225 (New 9th Literature Book) By: Edith Hamilton
- Students will watch "Clash of the Titans" movie...
- Students will compare and contrast Persesu vs. Clash of the Titans...
- Students will be introduced to the Odyessey via powerpoint (Wells)
- Students will read sections fo the Odyssey (Wells) 1) Sailing from Troy, 2) Lotus-Eaters, 3) Cyclops....
