Math 2- This week we will begin unit 3 of our curriculum-Circles and Spheres. Thins unit covers lessons 6.1 through 6.9 of the Mathematics 2 textbook. We will begin the unit with a task which will help students discover the lines and line segments related to circles.
Attached is the parent Letter that gives an overview of the entire unit.
Math 2 Support
We have discussed vocabulary related to circles, tangent properties and how to find the measures of major arcs, minor arcs, central and inscribed angles. We will practice more on these concepts and have a quiz this week. We will also spiral back to concepts from units 1 and 2 that were not mastered by students. Assignments will be given in class.
