VC - Get ready for "Jingle Bells" - melodic and harmonic 4ths and 5ths.

Everyone has done a great job with "Rockin' Intervals".  Groups B- we will catch up. 

Mixed Rep - Please memorize your Limeric pieces and practice. 

Other classes:  Scales A, E, and B were do 10/28, but since I haven't seen everyone I'll extend it until after the concert.

Congratulations Vocal Students!!

You've completed your All-State auditions for the year. Good Luck and I know your hard work will pay off.

Get ready for a full week of piano in every class. VC: melodic and harmonic 2nds and 3rds.

Other classes: please be prepared to show significant progress on your repertoire.

Chamber: please finish C,G and D scales. This is the last week. I'll begin listening to A, E and B this week.

Congratulations on a great showing for our Solo Festival which was held Saturday. The comments should be helpful on your All State solo. Everyone should continue to practice all skills

All State is 2 weeks away---Saturday October 15th.

Wednesday - Sight-reading session!!!!

 

 

 

Piano

VC- Please review Aura Lee and move on to the Grand Staff.  The Piano Lab is open before and after school.  It's alway great to be ahead.

All other piano classes:  I am listening to C, G and D major scales now.  They are not due until 10/3.  Please check them off as soon as possible.

All-State solos should be performance ready!!!

Wed - Sight-Reading Session - 4:30-5:30 - weekly

VC: Practice "Ode to Joy" and "Aura Lee".

All Vocal: Continue to practice All-State solo (should be memorized by now), all scales and sight-reading. Study terms. Practice your piano repertoire on your own. I'll be looking for significant progress this week.
