VC - We had an open discussion about the All-State auditions, which took place Sat 10/10, at Woodland High School. We also had a sectional rehearsal on Ubi Caritas. The altos have a little homework on finding their pitch (when Bb becomes 1 at "TEMPO", the bottom of pg. 2.)
Piano Group A - reviewed harmonic 4ths and 5ths and continued practicing Jingle Bells.
Chamber - We had sectional rehearsals today on the Brahms 12 - 15. I later introduced the senior song for the Senior Walk Ceremony, next Wed. The song is "This Is My Now". If you are interested in getting a solo, you should learn it by tomorrow.
MR - We talked about the All-State audition process. The theory class used the paddles (given by Mrs. Perkins) to play an interval game. They enjoyed the game, the candy and took steps closer to expanding their interval recognition. Think of more games, please.
