Welcome back from your most enjoyable christmas vacation. I am very excited about this semester and what we will accomplish.
My goal is to get you ready for your big project that you have been waiting for, at last January is here.
Ready, Set, Go---------------------No! not quite yet, we still have to study some topics before you can get those babies.
Lets get right to it, so this week we will cover these topics:
- Temperament Traits
- The home environment and how it affects a childs development
- Social development in infants
- Exploring play and social development
You will use your textbooks, videos, discussion, brainstorm, role play and writing a narrative essay about you as a small child, and some jealous reaction to a sibling's special treatment by your parents.
You will also plan a social activity for a one year old child, to be executed in a weeks time.
