9th grade ESOL lit

This week we will have the Vocab Quiz over words from last week and be given new words from pp.676+694. We will have Daily writing everyday.  We will be reading "We Real Cool", "The Raven", and "Casey at Bat."  We will have 2 Journal writings. Also the Narrative Poetry Project we be introduced.

This week we will be completing Vocab quiz on monday, daily writing, reading pages 646-664, taking quiz over poetry, and taking Vocabulary quiz on thursday and friday over vocab words on pages 644+652.

Homework take vocab words write definitions and the write two sentences with each.

This week we will finish presenting our PowerPoint, completing daily writing, reading pages 620-638, taking quiz over poetry, and taking Vocabulary quiz on thursday and friday over vocab words on page 608.

Homework will be to take vocab words on p. 608,write definitions, and giving two examples of each.

9th ESOL Lit.: we will be doing daily writing, will be given Vocab. words on p.608, will have a vocab. assignment, will be reading poetry (pp.632-638), will have quiz over poetry, and Vocab.

9th Grade lit: (Monday-Tuesday)we will be starting the Vocabulary group activity and also be introduced to poetry.  (Wednesday) Students will present their vocab. activity. (Thursday) Students will present their vocab. activity and do Vocab Quiz. there will be new vocab words given out for next section(pp. 618& 630)(Friday) Vocab quiz and intro to poetry p606 and pp. 611-614. also new vocab words (pp.618 & 630)

9th Grade ESOL lit: (Monday-Tuesday) Given Vocab. exercise and graphic orgainzer for intro to poetry. (Wednesday) Review Graphic orgainzers and read poetry (pp. 606 & 611) then discuss in groups. (Thursday) Vocab quiz and given new vocab words (pp.618 & 630). then review graphic orgainzers and read poetry (pp. 606 & 611) then discuss in groups. (Friday) Vocab quiz and given new vocab words (pp. 618 & 630).  Then read poetry p. 613-614 and then discuss in groups. while in groups create a poem.

Remember in class daily writing assignments and can turn in Extra credit vocab Monday-Wednesday
